The Falls after
a summer rain
When it pours it
roars
The silt in the arroyos is
quickly carried downstream after even the slightest summer shower, wish
we could filter it out and spread it in the gardens.
After a drenching rain above
the falls, the river nearly overflowed the banks. It brought
hundreds of small crawdads to the surface along the banks

Connie & I
Helen Louise
The two of us on
her arrival day at the ranch. She has become my shadow, very
affectionate and gentle. We are blessed to have her on the ranch.
Our new 35 hp
diesel tractor, a KAMA with front end loader, back hoe, loading forks
and a boompole - a chipper is on its way. She is named after Helen
Louise Leonard, my Great Grandmother's first cousin and black sheep of
the family - her stage name was Lillian Russell!

passed away on August 24 after
writing and
directing his last film
"America- Freedom to Fascism"
