A ranch sunset! First Blooms of Spring
A view from Brian's back door! A hedgehog cactus makes its beauty known.
Spectacular Skies The falls in Spring!
We are blessed with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The Bridal Falls are now one-half ON the ranch property .  We have closed the road to public access to minimize vandalism with the other owner's permission.
The Falls after a summer rain When it pours it roars
The silt in the arroyos is quickly carried downstream after even the slightest summer shower, wish we could filter it out and spread it in the gardens. After a drenching rain above the falls, the river nearly overflowed the banks.  It brought hundreds of small crawdads to the surface along the banks

At the peak

The riverbanks on the ranch
You can actually 'feel' the vibration of the water as it cascades over the rock formations. We are fortunate to have 365 days of flowing water. It is a solid flow year round.

Moving water has a lot of force.

"Connie"
Silt is carried from the desert floor into the creek during rainstorms. Our sweetheart before rescue by ACHE of El Paso, Tx.

Connie & I

Helen Louise
The two of us on her arrival day at the ranch. She has become my shadow, very affectionate and gentle.  We are blessed to have her on the ranch. Our new 35 hp diesel tractor, a KAMA with front end loader, back hoe, loading forks and a boompole - a chipper is on its way. She is named after Helen Louise Leonard, my Great Grandmother's first cousin and black sheep of the family - her stage name was Lillian Russell!

Hollywood Producer Aaron Russo
passed away on August 24 after
writing and directing his last film
"America- Freedom to Fascism"
which premiered in five theaters
before Aarons death.  The films
subject matter is factual and
frightening at the same time.
